About the 6th IPGC
Connecting scientific knowledge, professional practice and decision-making
Earth sciences are essential to understanding the world around us and addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing society — from securing mineral, water and energy resources to understanding natural and climate-related risks and strengthening societal resilience.
Under the theme “Geosciences: Resources, Risks and Resilience”, the 6th IPGC will bring together the full breadth of the geosciences, connecting fundamental research, technological innovation and professional practice.
The conference will provide a platform for researchers, professionals, practitioners and decision-makers to exchange knowledge and experience, explore innovative approaches and strengthen international collaboration.
